FIRST PROJECT

Why study peptide–MHC binding?

MHC proteins can bind short peptide fragments and display them for immune surveillance. Which peptides bind depends in part on the MHC variant. That gives our first project a defined question: can feedback help choose which peptides to evaluate next?

RESEARCH ROADMAP

Where we are.

This is exploratory computational research. Published notes describe the question and a strong fixed ranking baseline. The next research stage is being scoped.

  1. 01 QUESTION FRAMED

    A focused starting point

Ask whether feedback can improve computational peptide discovery, and define what evidence would count.

  2. 02 SCREENING TASK

    A baseline to beat

A screen-replay task and strong fixed ranking baseline make the feedback question testable.

  3. 03 CURRENT FOCUS

    Choose the next study

An internal method assessment is complete. We’re deciding what to test next.

Binding alone does not establish that a peptide is presented on a cell, recognized by T cells, or useful as a medicine. Those questions call for other evidence.
